Hotel Royal Park - Mumbai

The staff here was really helpful and my requirements were met, plus the location is convenient with easy access to nearby places like Shri Maheshwari Mandir, and the free WiFi worked really well, making my stay enjoyable.

you should definitely explore central suburbs district, it's worth it. we greatly enjoyed the fact that we chose royal park.

Helpful staff, rooms clean, back street location means an escape from noise of car horns

Back street location means limited immediate off site facilities such as restaurants, shops etc

We booked this hotel as point close to the airport where we can take shower and leave our luggage for some hours, still the hotel staff deserves to be mentioned in "did not like section", please see our review below

They do not accept credit cards (No Visa, no Master card or any other international payment cards) We stayed at Hotel Royal Park December 1 for one night We payed for the stay in cash and had to recieve 400 INR as change, they say they have only 10 INR banknotes and the change will be given later, we took a receipt for the amount paid and asked to call us a taxi to the airport at 1 am. The Hotel is located few steps from the airport and price for tourists (already doubled!) is INR 200, we know Mumbai rates. They brought us taxi at 1000 INR and refused to give back our change of 400 INR in cash, they said it would be paid as charge for taxi, we claimed our cash back, got it, set price for taxi down to INR 400 after hot negotiation with 6 people belonging to the hotel staff. It was the most impudent attempt to fool us we have ever experienced in Mumbai.

I stayed one night there. When I arrived I asked to pay by credit card as the site says all cards are accepted but the guy asked for cash. He charged me 3800 rupees when I checked in, when I checked out he gave me a bill of 2800 rupees. I had a non smoking room but there was a non empty ashtray in my room... Also I could not turn off the AC, the temperature was so low at night that I turn off the overall electricity not to freeze.

Very poor location & hard to reach....

Dirty bed sheet, comfort cover, pillow cover. Looked like not changed after the last occupant as hair and blood stains were on it. When asked to change they brought another one worse than the existing one. Broken toilet seat cover, dirty water taps, beer bottle cap was on the bathroom floor, broken room decor. AC has no control except a switch to turn it on and off and if you turn it on its a freezer.

Hotels amenities are good, food also good, cleaning and comfort I like it.
